NDIS support

Daily Personal Activities

Personal care delivered with privacy, patience and a steady routine.

Personal care is the most private support we provide, so we treat it that way. You tell us how you like things done, we write it down, and every worker who comes to you follows the same plan.

What this looks like in practice

  • Showering, dressing, grooming and continence support
  • Transfers and mobility assistance by trained workers
  • Medication prompting and assistance in line with your plan
  • Morning and evening routines that start when you want them to
  • Same gender support workers where you ask for them

This is probably right for you if

  • You need hands on help with personal care at home
  • You want the same small team rather than a rotating roster
  • You are returning home from hospital and need support restarted quickly

How this is usually funded

Usually funded under Core Supports, Assistance with Daily Personal Activities. We do not currently deliver high intensity personal care, such as ventilator, PEG feeding or complex bowel care support.
